Richards D. Barger

Richards Barger is a founding partner of the firm, and is the senior partner in its Los Angeles office. Mr. Barger has had a distinguished career. In 1968, he was appointed by Ronald Reagan, then Governor of California, as Governor Reagan’s first Insurance Commissioner.

Mr. Barger has also served as President of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

Mr. Barger specializes in the formation, merger and acquisition of insurance companies. He has extensive experience counseling, advising and representing insurers in all aspects of their legal affairs.
